Description
OXYPLAST PE80/0000/100/200/GF is a transparent powder coating that exhibits an excellent resistance to a broad range of chemicals and solvents. The resulting coating has a very good flow-out and high gloss clarity, and is suitable for in- and outdoor topcoat applications.
Specific gravity: (g/cm³) (ISO 8130:1992) 1.20 ± 0.02
Particle size distribution: Optimised for electrostatic application.
Storage: Dry, max. 25°C: at least 1 year (The powder is sensitive to moisture: it is of utmost importance to reclose the plastic bag after usage)
Application: With Corona gun
Film thickness: 60 – 100 μm.
Curing schedule:
10 min. at 200 °C (metal temperature)
15 min. at 190 °C (metal temperature)
Remark: A minimum temperature of 190°C is required for sufficient cure. Insufficient curing results in a decreased chemical resistance. A maximum temperature of 215°C is advised.
Compatibility: OXYPLAST PE80/0000/100/200/GF is not compatible with other standard polyester powders. A thorough cleaning of the installation before and after application is required.
