EF-series™ – Anti-Corrosion Zinc Primer – Grey

EF Series Zincoprim Epoxy Zinc Rich Primer in Grey.

OXYPLAST ZINCOPRIM is a zinc-rich thermosetting powder based on epoxy resins and special hardeners.

OXYPLAST ZINCOPRIM is used on shot blasted steel as a primer before further coating with an epoxy, epoxy-polyester or polyester powder coating.

OXYPLAST ZINCOPRIM gives very good corrosion resistance.

OXYPLAST ZINCOPRIM will always be used as a primer and will be covered with a topcoat.

In order to obtain the optimal adhesion between the 2 layers, it is recommended to partially cure the OXYPLAST ZINCOPRIM.

Curing schedule: 5 minutes at 180°C (metal temperature)

WARNING: The topcoat must be applied within 24 hours following the application of OXYPLAST ZINCOPRIM.
