One of our new developments in powder coating offers users and specifiers an independently certified Anti-Slip powder coating finish.

The coarse structured sandtex type finish offers excellent anti-slip performance. The product has undergone independent testing to determine its anti-slip performance.

The TCKI independent laboratory has tested and approved this powder with an R12 value, based upon its determination of the anti-slip properties – workrooms and fields of activities with slip danger, using walking method – Ramp Test in accordance with CEN/TS16165, annex B and DIN 51130 which means that we can provide an excellent powder for all anti-slip applications.

Protech-Oxyplast’s PE44-ST Low Bake (Anti-Slip) powder has also been assessed for the Pendulum Friction Test to BS 7976-2 in both wet and dry conditions achieving a PTV of 65 (Dry) and a PTV of 50 (Wet).

PE44-ST Low Bake (Anti-Slip) has also achieved Fire Classification A2 – s1, d0 within Classification of Reaction to Fire Performance in accordance with NF EN 13501 – 1: 2013. This includes reaction to fire behaviour, the production of smoke and the fall of flaming droplets/particles. This testing covers all colours.

PE44-ST Low Bake (Anti-Slip) powder coatings provide a significantly improved coefficient of friction compared to other standard sandtex type powder coatings.

PE44-ST Low Bake (Anti-Slip) powder coatings are formulated as exterior durable TGIC-free low bake polyesters with excellent abrasion resistance.

Most RAL colours are achievable as well as a transparent version.
