AG-KOTE™ Anti-Gassing Low Bake Powder Coatings

Ag-kote™ is the Protech/Oxyplast Group’s line of anti-gassing powders. Because of our unique formulations and the low temperatures needed to cure these powders,  porous substrates can now be coated with almost no craters, pin holes, or air bubbles. As well, the low temperatures provide energy and cost savings.  Ag-kote™ powders are formulated to show excellent chemical and stain resistance as well as outstanding exterior durability; and, like all Protech products, they are environmentally friendly.

Ag-kote™ PE40 AG and PE42 AG are polyester powders that can be cured according to a standard (180°C) bake or an alternative low bake such as 10 minutes at 160°C, and that can be applied on any surface; steel, galvanised steel and aluminium.

Due to its very low curing temperatures and exceptional degassing properties, the powders are also suitable for covering porous surfaces.

The resulting coatings have excellent durability outdoors and are available in a variety of finishes and textures.
