OXYPLAST PE57 is a TGIC-free polyester powder coating with excellent outdoor durability.
OXYPLAST PE57 fulfils the QUALICOAT requirements for super durable coatings for architectural applications on aluminium. It received the QUALICOAT approval in Class 2
(Super durable), gloss category 3 (60° gloss: 71-100%), including coatings with metallic aspect:
• Density (g/cm³): (DIN 55990/3) 1.28 – 1.55 (depending on colour)
• Particle size distribution: (ISO 8130-13:2001) Optimised for electrostatic application
• Gel time 180 °C: (DIN 55990/8) 120 – 200 s
• Storage: Dry, max. 25 °C: at least 1 year
• Application: With Corona gun / Film thickness: 60 – 90 µm
• Curing schedule:
10 min. at 200 °C (metal temperature)
15 min. at 190 °C (metal temperature)
20 min. at 180 °C (metal temperature)
Preferably below 220 °C (metal temperature)
