Oxyplast UK proudly announces that Oxyplast PE50 polyester powder coatings have recently been certified EN 45545-2. This is the leading European standard for the fire testing of materials and components used on trains.

Oxyplast PE50 meets the most demanding requirements making it the powder coating of choice for HL3 operation categories like vehicles used on underground sections (subways, tubes) and sleeping and couchette cars. Read more information on EN 45545-2 here.

In response to increasing demands for anti-graffiti coatings, Oxyplast has also developed PE87. This is a superdurable, anti-graffiti powder that exceeds the specifications of Bombardier and NMBS.

This new product line will be further certified in order to meet all standards of the railway industry. PE87 is available in a wide range of colours, surface finishes and metallic effects.
