STERILCOAT AM is a range of antimicrobial powder coatings showing a high reducing activity against a broad spectrum of micro-organisms, including bacteria, yeasts and moulds.
The STERILCOAT AM grade can be obtained in any existing powder coating chemistry:
- indoor & outdoor applications
- all gloss levels
- all colours
- special effects
The antibacterial ingredient in STERILCOAT AM complies with the requirements for food contact (EPA, FDA, NSF, EFSA).
Typical application areas are hospitals, nursery furniture, food processing areas, restaurants & catering, hotels, public washrooms & toilets, rest homes, locker rooms, schools, offices,…
The antimicrobial principle in STERILCOAT AM doesn’t show skin irritation, is non-sensitizing and non-mutagenic. It has the following food contact approvals:
