A TGIC-free low-bake polyester powder coating with a Coarse Texture (Ripple) Finish.
OXYPLAST PE44 is part of a range of low-bake polyester powder coatings. These coatings show a good outdoor durability, and are available in smooth, structured and metallic powder coatings.
• Density (g/cm³) (ISO 8130-2:1992): 1,20 – 1,70 (depending on the colour)
• Particle size distribution: Optimized for electrostatic application and in function of the coating aspect
• Storage: Dry, max. 25°C: at least 1 year
• Application: With Corona-gun
• Layer thickness: 100 – 120 µm
• Curing schedule:
15 min. at 150 °C (substrate temperature)
10 min. at 160 °C (substrate temperature)
5 min. at 180 °C (substrate temperature)
A minimum curing temperature of 150 °C is needed for a full development of the coating properties.
