OXYPLAST EF61 Fusion bonded epoxy powder for steel pipe protection

OXYPLAST EF61 is a fast curing, thermosetting powder coating, that meets the specifications related to the internal and external protection
of steel and cast iron pipes, fittings and other accessories. The powder is also suitable for the field joint coating of girth welds.
The product is especially developed for contact with drinking water and is in conformity with the FDA Regulations
§ 175.300, as well as the Belgian Norm NBN – S 29001, and is certified by BELGAQUA.

Particle size distribution: Optimized for electrostatic application
Specific gravity (ISO 8130-2:1992): 1.50 ± 0.05
Covering capacity at 400 µm: 1.66 ± 0.05 m²/kg
Gel time 200 °C (ISO 8130-6:1982): 35 ± 5 seconds
Glass transition temperature (°C): 55
Storage stability: 6 months at 25 °C (in original packaging)

EF61 can be applied at high speed and cures with residual heat. Cold application, however, is also possible.
